Summer is ending... but Chorus is just getting started!

Rehearsals for our fall performance: Broadway! Then and Now start August 29th! We'll gather at Zion Lutheran Church in the choir room for our first rehearsal from 6:30-8:30pm. Please join us every Tuesday through the end of October as we celebrate the hits from your favorite Broadway shows! The concert will be Sunday, October 29th, 3pm at the Myles Reif Performing Arts Center.

Don't forget to follow the chorus on facebook and twitter for more information!

It's been an exciting 2017 for the Itasca Community Chorus. In March, we finalized our new logo, which you can see below. This was a long time coming, and we were happy to work with White Ivy Designs to produce a fresh new look for our marketing material. Keep an eye out, because you'll be seeing this logo all around Grand Rapids and the surrounding area, as we bring great quality music to our community!
In June 21 members of the chorus traveled to Chicago to participate in Manhattan Concert Production's Cathedral Series concert with guest composer and conductor, René Clause. It was an amazing experience working with this brilliant musician and all who participated left with the energy only found in great music making. If that wasn't enough excitement for 2017, we will also be releasing our first recording in October. The chorus gathered in January to complete a recording project with recording engineer Wayne Leeds. Sam and Wayne will be putting the final touches on the CD in the coming weeks, and copies of the album will be available at our fall performance on October 29th.
